This is a lovely hand thrown, hand glazed stoneware cream coloured large tea or coffee cup with a hand painted drawing of a heron on one side.
Wheel thrown, hand made from stoneware clay in my home studio before being bisque fired, turned and then glaze fired in my kiln at around 1250 degrees.
My designs are hand drawn (not transfers/decals) from my own sketches in underglaze ink directly onto the bisque pottery before the final firing. I only make a few pieces a week.
Each piece is unique and please note that some colours may look slightly different to the photos.
As these are hand-made piece please note that they may not appear as perfectly formed as mass-produced factory items.
This listing is for ONE large cup which measures (approximately) 10.5cm (Diameter) x 8cm (Height). Full width including handle is approximately 14cm.
PLEASE NOTE the other listing for a heron mug is a larger size than this so they are not a perfect pair.
All glazes are food safe and product is dishwasher safe.
I am trying to use re-cycled and/or eco friendly packaging as much as possible.
